Brooklyn Native Tony Ormond delivers both British and American influenced Rock that is melodic, lyrical, moody and beautiful. Once a guitar player for J Records recording artist Gavin DeGraw, Tony has performed with Greg Naughton, Alice Ripley and Alec Berlin. 'Control What I Can' finds Tony playing every instrument and singing every vocal part. Stand out tracks include 'Why You Calling Me Now', 'Each Part of You' and 'While I Waited'. Tony Ormond can be described as 2 parts Beatles, 1 part Tom Petty, throw in some John Mayer and Wilco. 'Control What I Can' was produced, engineered and mixed by Tony Ormond.
Tony has also established himself as a composer for film and T.V. In 2004, Tony was asked to compose 3 songs for the documentary 'Hamburger America' as well music supervising the soundtrack. The film continues to air nationally on the Sundance Channel as well as on PBS every July 4th. Tony Ormond has also written and done session guitar work for ESPN, FOX Sports and PBS/Nature.
